Science For A Better Life
Science For A Better Life is a series of redacted and collaged Bayer, Monsanto, and Dow Chemical magazine advertisements from the 1950s – 1980s. Using collage and cutting, I’ve redacted the original text, altering the intended messaging and visuals to expose the threat posed by toxic chemicals. The final reconstructed ads critique our nation’s history of overusing harmful agricultural chemicals and the U.S. Government’s weak regulations on corporate agribusiness.
